Banana ... Super food for adults and children...

Banana

Banana

Musa acuminata
Most children love Bananas! They have a gooey sweet flavour and are great as a snack. But why are Bananas good for kids?
Firstly they build strong bones and secondly they are very good for the stomach and bowels. Packed with Calcium, energy, strong alkalizing properties and vitamin B6, the humble banana is a great fruit to aid development of the body as well as helping protect against type 2 diabetes. Bananas are also known to re-establish electrolytes in the body after diarrhea and regulate the bowel with their high fiber content. Overall Bananas are a kid’s best friend and contribute a lot to children's health.
Bananas are thought to have been first cultivated around 8,000 BC in the Kuk Valley in New Guinea. They were spread to different countries by trade and are now enjoyed by almost everybody the world over.
